Rob van Oosten, Negen abstracte werken, a set of nine mixed‑media oil paintings on 66 × 66 cm, signed and dated, originally an edition, created in 2026, sold with frame, directly from the artist, in excellent condition.
Description from the seller
Biography
Rob van Oosten (1963) began painting in his teenage years. Among other things by copying 'old masters' he discovered what oil paint could do. However, his career did not go the artist's route; he became a teacher. In addition, he continued painting. For many years these were still lifes with flowers, vegetables and fruit, but he noticed that he could not express his creativity sufficiently there. That changed when he started adding sand to his work and began using tools such as putty knives and steel brushes. His work became rougher and increasingly moved toward abstraction. Rob finds inspiration in life. That can be beautiful, but also has many rough edges.
Rob van Oosten's work has now found its way into private collections in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Italy, Portugal, Spain, France and Greece.
Recent selling exhibitions were in the 'Tree Museum' in Doorn and at 'Castle Amerongen'.
These 9 works are painted on acid-free, pH-neutral paper.
The works are framed, but can be easily taken out of the frame.
Dimensions of the works without frame: 15 x 15 cm
Framed: 22 x 22 cm
This nine-piece set of paintings is sold directly by the painter.
The works are signed and dated.
Shipping is done carefully and quickly.
