Description from the seller
Salvador Dalí (1904–1989) Pegaso, 1983
An enchanting lithograph with embossing belonging to the famous Dalinian Horses series, produced by ARCHES for the master of Surrealism Salvador Dalí in 1983.
The work depicts the mythical Pegasus reinterpreted according to the unmistakable Dalinian imagination: a dynamic and visionary winged horse, built through fluid and almost anatomical lines that evoke a moving skeletal structure.
The warm tones of orange and beige blend with darker contrasts, creating a dreamlike atmosphere typical of Dalí's artistic language.
The print features a refined embossing that adds depth and relief to the horse figure, highlighting the strength and movement of the subject.
At the bottom is the artist's printed signature, while the work was made on fine Archi Pergamena paper.
This lithograph is part of an edition published by Éditions Arches and is authenticated by the publisher's dry stamp, a guarantee of a print run produced during the artist's life and with his authorization.
The copy is kept in excellent condition, never framed, a characteristic that preserves its original integrity.
A suggestive and collectible work that fuses mythology and surrealism, ideal for Dalí collectors and for enthusiasts of 20th-century original graphic art.
