Description from the seller

A charming set of three authentic hand-painted majolica plates from Deruta, Umbria — one of Italy's most celebrated ceramic traditions, producing fine majolica continuously since the 15th century.
Each plate displays the distinctive crackle glaze mosaic surface characteristic of Deruta workshop production, hand-painted in polychrome with floral bouquets at the border panels and flowing gilt scroll motifs at the centre. The deep green sectioned panels and scalloped gilt edges are executed with the precision and care that defines authentic Deruta craftsmanship.
The gilding remains bright and well-preserved across all three pieces. No chips, cracks, hairlines or restoration are visible on any plate.
