Artist biography:
Mario Bedini studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Carrara, and in 1958 he made his solo debut at the Cocchini Gallery in Livorno. He subsequently moved to Geneva, where he worked between 1960 and 1963. That same year he settled in Barcelona, ultimately establishing his residence in Sant Celoni in 1972. Throughout his career he held numerous exhibitions in Europe and the United States, and was awarded prizes in Spain and Italy, notably the first prize for drawing from the Sant Lluc Artistic Circle in Barcelona in 1984. He is currently represented in the Pagani Foundation Museum in Milan, at the Diputación Provincial de León, in the collection of the Consejo Superior de Deportes in Madrid, in the Italo-American Museum Laguna of Marina in San Francisco, in the Museum of Hispanic and Latin American Art in Florido, in the International Olympic Committee Museum in Lausanne, and in the Barcelona Sports Museum.
