Lot description: Stained-glass window hanger - Theo van Zanten (Edam) - Maritime Scene
Object: Painted stained-glass panel

Technique: Hand-painted stained glass, set in an oval lead came
Subject: A detailed historic sailing vessel (galley/barge) on a rolling sea
Condition: Excellent / Exceptionally deep in color
This specific lot stands out for its pristine state of preservation. Where comparable objects often show color loss due to years of UV exposure, this panel has retained its deep, saturated pigments in full. The glass is completely free of cracks or hairlines and the lead is in a stable, solid condition.
