EXCEPTIONAL WORK: Print on a canvas-backed surface of the piece The Floating Piers by Christo and Jeanne-Claude, signed in print. Limited Edition Xth Anniversary of the installation realized on Lake Iseo in 2016, with frame measurements of 72 x 52 cm, numbered 000003 of a series of 000010 and certified. Comes with a frame. Packed with great care and documented in the packing stages. Shipped insured. To avoid complaints, the photos published are part of the description; please view them carefully.
From June 18 to July 3, 2016, Lake Iseo rose to prominence thanks to the artist Christo, who allowed people to walk on the waters from Pilzone to Monte Isola. In those few days more than 1,500,000 people climbed the floating docks, which were covered by 100,000 square meters of the same original yellow fabric (today supplied with the print) and supported by a system of modular piers made of 220,000 high-density polyethylene cubes forming a floating walkway on the water’s surface.
