Each of the portrayed animals is unique in its beauty and features and tells of the courage, patience, pride and the delicate perfection of its species.

The title of the photo describes a characteristic or detail. " last 1600 - Silverback " refers to the number of Mountain Gorilla individuals present on the African continent. This head of the family was photographed in Bwindi NP in the heart of Uganda.

The LONERS collection has been exhibited since 2020 in Rome. Marco Simoni is an Italian photographer specializing in wildlife and portraiture, and his ongoing research has led him to travel the world over the last 15 years.

All works in the collection are real photos of animals photographed in their natural habitats and therefore not the result of AI.
