This is a beautiful photograph of Paris by the renowned French photographer Albert Monier, who was the world’s leading author of photographs for illustrated postcards, with over 100,000,000 postcards sold, plus about 100,000 posters...

This fascinating image depicts the Place de la Concorde in Paris; it is, of course, a black-and-white photograph, as the author favored, and it was taken around the late 1950s.

Although it is a postcard, it belongs to those a bit 'special', where the author would stamp his signature with an embossed 'dry' seal, and it is a true photograph, not a photographic print like the postcards marketed in millions of copies; these were intended for friends, collectors, and/or relatives of the photographer.

The aesthetic condition is excellent; the format is 14.7 x 10.4 cm.
