The MCG48C classical guitar is built according to the Spanish tradition.
With 'Spanish heel' construction.
This construction method you often see in handmade Spanish classical guitars.
In this build style the inside and outside of the heel are one piece and are cut, after which the sides can be slipped in.
The result is a very stable neck construction, fewer joints and it thus has an excellent tone.
Tonally the guitar is bright and open, which is a characteristic of Martinez guitars, but also enough warmth in the tone thanks to the cedar top.
Very fine (flat) neck to play. Excellent study guitar!
