Description from the seller

Limoges porcelain inkwell, Sèvres "Celestial Blue" style with Floral Gold decorations, France 19th/20th century.
Finest high-quality desk set inspired by the 18th-century models of the Royal Sèvres Manufactory.
The piece comprises a sand container, two cylindrical inkwells, each with a lid, and in the center a small cup-shaped pedestal for a candle.
In addition to the characteristic turquoise ground and borders of fine gold, the decorations are delicate garlands of flowers, all clearly hand-painted.
On the base there is a cursive “M,” stamped before firing, representing the master modeller’s mark, and two vent holes. These features guarantee authentic handmade craftsmanship of the era for fine porcelain manufacture.
The condition, apart from the restoration of one of the inkwell lids and an imperceptible hairline on the lid of the sand container (see related photos), is excellent with only light signs of wear from time.
