Pietro Fight presents Dettaglio, an original 2026 mixed‑media abstract artwork, 150 × 110 cm, signed by hand with a certificate of authenticity, shipped rolled in a rigid tube from Italy.
Description from the seller
XXL Canvas (150 x 110 cm)
Important note: for safety reasons and to reduce shipping costs, the canvas will be sent rolled in a rigid tube (without frame). The shipment will be trackable; once received, the work can be framed by a framer. There is an approximate 8 cm border of unpainted canvas to facilitate mounting. One-of-a-kind and original work, signed on the back, accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist (with a personalized stamp).
WORK
“Detail” originates from a simple gesture: taking a fragment of one of my paintings and bringing it out, enlarging it until it becomes an autonomous work. I chose to isolate a portion of the weave—the part where the mark interlaces and creates solids and voids—and reproduce it on an XXL canvas (150 × 110 cm).
The idea is to give space to what in my works is often discovered only when close up: micro-signs, interlocks, minimal variations, everything that happens “inside” the surface. Here that world is no longer a hidden detail, but becomes the main subject: an abstract black-and-white writing, dense and rhythmic, inviting you to lose yourself among the particulars.
In this sense, “Detail” is a magnification, but also a choice: to transform the intimacy of the detail into a physical, large presence that forces you to look slowly and up close.
ARTIST
I am Pietro Fight, a visual artist based in Milan. My work explores a “writing of gesture”: sign-based calligraphic abstractions in which circular modules and lattices of signs build rhythm, density, and breath. I am interested in weight in space, the balance between solids and voids, between accumulation and suspension, between the intensity of the mark and zones of visual silence. This language emerged in 2020, during the Covid period, turning the monotony of daily routine into construction and variation. Even though the method is repetitive, each work remains unrepeatable, because every circle and every mark is always different.
I offer exclusively original works (no prints), hand-signed and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity signed and with a personalized ink-stamp. Careful shipping and availability of photos, videos, and further information on request.
