Description from the seller

Bosnia 1993, Sarajevo, during the siege the Serbian forces pull out.

José Nicolas is a French photographer whose work sits between documentary and personal writing. After several years of reporting, he develops a meditation on image, memory and the gaze, with particular attention given to the archive, to the book and to analog photography. He is notably the author of On est ce que l’on regarde, a work produced following a distinction from the SAIF, and today runs a photography gallery in Paris.
