Biography:
Daniela Scanu, born in the city of Brescia in 1976, has from a young age shown a pronounced creative aptitude, which directs her toward studies in fashion and drawing. She attended the Istituto IPSIA Fortuny in Brescia, obtaining the diploma of stylist and costume designer.
Subsequently, she did not continue in the fashion sector, but pursued sports studies, allowing her to become an international judge of pole sport and a sports instructor.
She teaches for several years at sports centers and dance schools: pole sport, aerial hoop, yoga, Caribbean dances, oriental dances, ballroom dancing, yoga.
Thanks to her great tenacity and determination she achieves excellent results as an international athlete.
Among the most important, we recall
First place in Tortosa, Spain at the "WSG 2019",
Second place in Finland "Championship 2019".
But her true vocation remains the art of photography, that silent love which, thanks to dance and sport, she continues to cultivate, delving specifically into artistic nude, portraits, conceptual photography.
Daniela Scanu’s photographic world is capable of stunning and enchanting the viewer; her particular sensitivity and powerful expressive sense reach a strong convergence point between artistic photography and painting and sculpture.
The ability to translate a body into universal iconographies through which emotions and personal introspection travel.
The human body becomes the vehicle for transporting the soul, an expression of pain, but also of great inner rebirth.
