EQUIPAJE is a 70x100 cm painting by contemporary artist Ernest García. In this painting, the space is presented as a place frozen in time, charged with expectation. The room, seemingly simple, transforms into a stage where objects—the suitcases, the bed, the door—acquire a meaning that goes beyond the everyday.

The suitcases, placed in the foreground, dominate the composition and become the true narrative axis of the work. Their presence suggests movement, departure or return, but also a pause: the moment before closing, leaving, or perhaps undoing what has been lived.

The chromatic contrast between the vibrant yellows of the luggage and the deep blues of the walls generates a visual tension that activates the scene.
