Description from the seller
"Farewell" a framed still life of a sunflower. A fine-art print, size 30x40, finished with a matte acrylic and framed in a wooden frame from the Italian company Larson Juhl, without glass. It is the first edition of 12.
With a subtle color palette and a balanced composition, the photographer calls forth the spirit of the Baroque, but places it in the twenty-first century. As with the great European masters, her backgrounds are not décor, but a quiet force that carries the object forward. Van de Bunte lends the things a rare clarity: she shows their weight, their presence, their dignity.
The photographer works with the latest Hasselblad equipment and creates her photography from a studio housed in a monumental building in the Hanseatic city of Kampen. Her work is presented in museums, galleries and at leading art fairs.
