Description from the seller
The AKT 2
Oil on canvas
120 x 100 cm
The body stands.
Without pose, without protection.
It is not about nudity, but about presence.
About existing in space, between tension and calm.
But from trust.
In one’s own feeling.
In what is present right now.
With an authenticity certificate signed by the artist.
The painting will be shipped rolled in a tube (without a frame).
If desired, it is possible to obtain the painting with a stretched canvas frame. Please inform me if you are interested.
Year of origin: 2023
Packaging: sturdy cardboard
Courier service: DPD / DHL
About me:
"My painting moves at the boundary between figuration and abstraction — a tension-filled dialogue of expressive gesture, intense worlds of color, and intuitive dynamism.
Inspired by the energy of abstract expressionism, which moves between body and dissolution, chaos and harmony."
Each work is a process of questioning and rediscovery:
Lines break through surfaces.
Figures appear and disappear again.
An emotionally charged dance between control and release."
Mila Veljac’a is a visual artist of Croatian origin. She trained at art academies in Croatia, Vienna, Salzburg, and Stuttgart, and for several years shared her expertise as a lecturer in visual arts.
