A very beautiful copy of Hunters, My Brothers by Marc Lissy, published in 1981 by Nouvelle Librairie de France, Guy-Victor Labat publisher.

This work, devoted to the world of fighter pilots, was published under the patronage of the Association des Pilotes de Chasse. It is enriched with a preface and a postface by General Raymond Clausse and illustrated with original color watercolors by Henrik Kuczynski.

The colophon specifies that this edition was issued after the tête de série edition by Nouvelle Librairie de France, in numbered copies from 1 to 900, to which are added 10 HC (hors de commerce) copies. The presented copy also includes control slip no. 78.

The volume is bound in an elegant publisher’s full green imitation leather binding, with an extensive gold decoration on the front board, a decorated spine, and preserved textile bookmark. It is a copy with a splendid presentation, sought after for its limited edition, its iconographic quality, and its aeronautical and military theme.

Good to very good overall.

Sturdy and well-preserved binding. Gilding on the boards and spine well preserved. Interior largely clean and pleasant. Presence of a few scattered foxing spots on some pages, notably on the colophon page, visible in the photographs. Normal signs of age and handling. Bookmark present.
