"Bottle and Fruit" A still life in 40x50 format on high-quality Canson Fibre Rag paper, mounted on 2mm PVC and can be framed in a 40x50 cm frame. It is the fourth edition of 12 copies.
In the still lifes of Van de Bunte, everyday objects take on a new role. They are released from utility and use and appear as pure forms: quiet, present, almost vulnerable. Through the soft light, the sober composition and the attention to skin, shell, glass and ceramics, a still world emerges in which time slows down. The photographer works with the latest Hasselblad equipment and creates her photography from a studio located in a monumental building in the Hanseatic city of Kampen. Her work is presented in museums, galleries and at art fairs.

With her artworks she aims to bring her subjects forward in the purest possible way. Ursula transforms objects into powerful still lifes and the portraits are a reflection of a bygone era, where from time to time a splash of modern life is incorporated.
Her work is unconventional and the use of light leans toward her sources of inspiration: the paintings of Jacques-Louis David, Rembrandt and Caravaggio.
As a photographer Ursula also seeks to distinguish herself through diversity in her work, and beside individual creations she makes series, where multiple images tell one story. She is notably discovered with her intriguing, still lifes: the series Plastic Vegetables and the series House-4-Sale. These works have been awarded with various prizes, among them for the series “de 100 van Rooyackers.”
