Biography:
Daniela Scanu, born in Brescia in 1976, has always shown a marked creative aptitude since childhood, which guided her toward studies in fashion and drawing. She attended the institute "ipsia Fortuny" in Brescia, earning the diploma as designer and costume designer.
Subsequently, she did not continue in the fashion sector, but pursued athletic studies that allowed her to become an international judge of pole sport and a sports instructor.
She taught for many years at sports centers and dance schools: Pole sport, aerial pole, yoga, Caribbean dances, Oriental dances, ballroom dancing, yoga.
Thanks to her great tenacity and determination she achieves excellent results as an international athlete.
Among the most important are:
The 1st place in Tortosa, Spain at the "WSG 2019",
The 2nd place in Finland "Championship 2019".
But her true vocation remains the art of photography, that silent love which, thanks to dance and sport, she continually cultivates, delving specifically into artistic nudes, portraiture, conceptual photography.
Daniela Scanu’s photographic world is capable of amazing and enchanting the spectator; her particular sensitivity and powerful expressive sense reach a strong convergence point between artistic photography and painting and sculpture.
The ability to translate a body into universal iconography through which travels personal emotions and introspection.
The human body becomes the vehicle for transporting the soul, an expression of pain, but also of great inner rebirth.
