Giuseppe Migneco's Ritratto, a 1969 cubist lithograph on canvas from Italy, in a multicolour palette (rosso, verde, blu, bianco, nero) with dimensions 58 × 45.5 cm, hand-signed, original edition, requiring restoration due to a central crease and bearing a back stamp indicating provenance and an edition of 42/90 by Galleria Levi Milano.

Giuseppe Migneco, born in Messina in 1908 and died in Milan in 1997, a noted painter renowned for his expressive figures with defined contours and vivid colors. Recognized as one of the major Expressionists of the 20th century, among his activities he was an illustrator for Corriere dei Piccoli. His first solo exhibition in 1940, in Milan, then Genoa; founder of the movement 'Corrente' which gathered artists from different backgrounds and cultural horizons, over time joined painters such as Cassinari, Cerchi, Guttuso, Manzù, Sasso, etc. The lithograph printed on canvas needs restoration, presenting a central crack due to a crease; on the reverse there is a stamp identifying provenance and edition, the Levi Gallery of Milan 42/90 copies.
