StarWalker Doué fountain pen in black resin with a platinum-plated steel cap and a 14K gold nib, 14 cm long and 1.2 cm in diameter, dating from 2000–2010, in good used condition and in working order.
Description from the seller
A0000004212
The pen presents itself in very good overall condition, showing remarkable preservation both aesthetically and functionally.
The body in black resin maintains excellent gloss and uniformity, with light micro-signs of use typical of a previously used piece, barely perceptible to the naked eye and in no way affecting its visual presence. No cracks, dents or deformations are observed.
The platinum-coated metal cap, characteristic of the Doué version, is in very good condition, preserving its original satin finish with minimal surface marks derived from normal use. The clip shows good tension and proper alignment.
The metal finishes (rings and terminals) maintain a good general state, with slight signs of handling but without significant material loss or relevant deterioration.
The Montblanc floating emblem on the top remains clean and well defined, with no cracks or damage, preserving its characteristic visual effect.
The 14-karat gold nib is in very good condition, with no visible deformations, with correct alignment and ready to offer smooth writing. The pen has been checked and tested, guaranteeing proper functioning.
Overall, it is a very well-preserved piece, with light signs of use consistent with its nature, which do not affect either its aesthetics or its performance.
Recomendaciones de conservación
To preserve the pen in optimal condition, it is recommended to use inks of high quality specifically designed for fountain pens, avoid pigmented inks, perform periodic cleanings with lukewarm water if not used for a while, dry it completely before storing and keep it in a dry place, without direct exposure to sunlight or extreme temperatures. It is advisable to operate the filling system gently.
It will be shipped in a courtesy box for proper conservation.
Happy bidding!
