Description from the seller
Oil-on-canvas painting by Reinier Arie (Rein) Dool (Leiden, 3 February 1933), a Dutch artist who works as a painter, sculptor and ceramic artist.
From the eighties he increasingly focused on gouache and watercolor, with his work characterized by growing simplification and stylization. Since then, form and color play a more important role in his oeuvre than the recognizability of the subject.
Dimensions: 90 x 80 cm
Dimensions with frame: 99 x 89 cm
Provenance: Private collection, The Netherlands
Viewing is, of course, possible. In addition, we have our own in-house picture framing shop, which is celebrating its 85th anniversary year. Furthermore we use restorers from the industry association: 'Restauratoren Nederland'. If you would like to make use of this, we would of course be happy to hear from you.
