Rein Dool (born 1933) presents an oil painting titled Gieter, created in 2002, an original edition sold with frame, measuring 89 by 99 cm and signed by the artist.
Description from the seller
Oil painting by Reinier Arie (Rein) Dool (Leiden, February 3, 1933), a Dutch artist who works as a painter, sculptor and ceramicist.
From the eighties he increasingly devoted himself to gouache and watercolor, in which his work is characterized by growing simplification and stilization. Since then form and color play a more important role in his oeuvre than the recognizability of the subject.
Dimensions: 80 x 90 cm
Dimensions with frame: 89 x 99 cm
Provenance: Private collection, The Netherlands
Viewing is of course possible. In addition we have our own in-house framing shop, which is celebrating its 85th anniversary year. We also make use of restorers from the professional association: 'Restauratoren Nederland'. If you would like to use this service, of course we would love to hear from you.
