EXHIBITIONS

- Palazzo Borghese, Florence, 14/06/2025;

“ARCHEMISIO” is a contemporary painter famous for his hyperrealistic oil-on-canvas works, in which he blends photographic precision with the dramatic lighting typical of Caravaggio. Raised among the streets of Rome, from a young age he was fascinated by the Baroque masterpieces displayed in the city’s churches and museums, developing a passion for the contrast between light and shadow and for the emotional intensity of the figures.

After studying at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma, Archemisio traveled across Europe and the United States, refining his hyperrealist technique through the study of modern artists. However, his style is distinguished by the Caravaggesque legacy: his works capture meticulous details (from facial wrinkles to reflections on an object) but are immersed in a theatrical and directional light that chisels volumes and creates an atmosphere rich in symbolism.
