Description from the seller

James Rizzi

original licensed print

THE WINNING RELAY

(c) Olympic Museum

Frame approx. 23 x 32 x 3 cm
Inner opening (mat) approx. 17 x 12 cm
In the print signed and dated (1995)

Here is an image of the original (acrylic on canvas) from 1995. A very typical work by the exceptional artist, who unfortunately passed away in 2011.

Beautiful print from the catalogue RÊVES DE SPORT, Olympic Museum Lausanne, from 1996. This catalogue is out of print; the edition is not known to us.

Very good condition of the print. Newly framed with a signed signature.

Rizzi was a 3D artist; his art is especially popular in the USA, Switzerland, Germany, and Japan. After the artist’s death, works are increasingly hard to find. He followed the great pop art artists like Haring, Warhol, and Lichtenstein. Similar art to Charles Fazzino.
