Description from the seller
Elisabeth Koetsier (Zwolle, 1952) lived in the 1970s in North Africa, mainly in Tunisia and Morocco. Back in the Netherlands, she studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kampen, department of Monumental Form, specializing in painting. She works alternately in the Netherlands and in France, where she has a studio at the foot of the Pyrenees. Elisabeth paints the things she deals with, the things around her at home or elsewhere. Simple vase and bowl shapes are in her still life view monumentally enlarged.
