Description from the seller
The images by Master Riva, effective in giving shape and color to faces, familiar settings, countryside and villages animated by young people in celebration, and boundless horizons opening to the sky lit by the moon, pair well with the descriptions and comments by Sergio Campailla.
The text presents itself as a splendid example of literary and artistic composition, a work that is at once literary and figurative and that fits well within the art publishing project called ART’E’ SCRIPTA, with which ART’E’ aims to promote the “Testi della Coscienza,” illustrated by the great masters of contemporary art.
The volume is produced in a limited edition of 975 copies numbered from 1/975 to 975/975, plus another 75 with Roman numerals.
In particular this is number 477, as seen in the photo of the certificate of authenticity.
The fifteen plates outside the text by Master Ugo Riva were printed using lithoserigraphic technique at the Stamperia d’Arte “L’Incisione” in Corbetta – Milan.
The sewing, binding and the cover of the Volume in calf leather stained by hand in brown with inscriptions in gold were made using artisanal methods by the Art Bindery “L’Arte del Libro” of Todi. A notable feature is the cover of the text, for which Ugo Riva created an original bas-relief, a specimen titled Tu pensoso, executed by die-striking and gilded in 24 K gold at the Landi Foundry in Milan.
Each volume is signed and numbered by the Master Riva.
