Description from the seller
This lithograph by the great master Egon Schiele is a rare and important piece, both for its historical character and its artistic placement. The reproduction is faithful, having been crafted by hand using the technique called collotype. Collotype is a high-quality lithographic reproduction method, now largely unused, and it is the technique with which this magnificent print of a masterpiece by Egon Schiele was produced. This print is numbered and part of a limited edition and originally belonged to a portfolio of the master's works. The print, indeed, is valuable because this technique is no longer used. The work measures 50 x 36 cm. Its condition is exceptional. If sold, it will be carefully and professionally packaged.
