The combination of rough texture and noble gold leaf gives the work a special presence. It moves between minimalism, natural texture and abstract symbolism – a painting about time, growth and the beauty of reduction.

About the artist:
Stefanie Raus is a self-taught artist from the Black Forest. She was born in 1976 and is known for her delicate paintings, usually with a touch of gold leaf and strong texture. Collectors of her works live in Denmark, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Malta, the Netherlands, Italy, the Czech Republic, Singapore, Spain, Greece, Portugal, France and Germany. Through her listings on Saatchi Art she has already sold many works to the USA. Her paintings have been exhibited both domestically and abroad. In 2024 she won first place in the Kunst Online art prize.
