Description from the seller

Artist: Esther Beil (1975), Dutch
Title: The Colourful
Edition: 1/10
Size: The overall format including the white border is 50x70 cm.
Other information: The artwork is delivered without a frame

Description:
An explosion of color and movement, in which organic shapes merge into an abstract whole with subtle light accents. The work has a hypnotic layering.
The image gains depth and dynamism by deliberately imparting movement to the lens through applying the Intentional Camera Movement (ICM) technique.

The name of the work is a simple reference to the color palette and is part of a series of similar works.

Print process:
Fine art giclée print on William Turner paper by Hahnemühle. The paper has a pronounced watercolor texture, causing the merging colors to come out beautifully. The paper is made of 100% cotton, fully acid-free and OBA-free.

About the artist:
The artist aims for abstraction and a certain degree of simplicity in her abstract photography. Dynamic and stillness are both recurring themes, also in this series of works.
In her experimental approach the artist continually seeks the core: what remains if you remove everything except form, rhythm, light/dark and color.
