Lida Khaykara - Kate in white socks

Lidiia (Lida) Khaikara is a photographer and visual artist, born in Saint Petersburg. She started with analog photography and manual printing techniques, exploring the physical nature of the image — light, chemical processes, and the texture of photographic paper. Today, Lida works with digital photography, developing her own visual language in portrait and nude photography. Her work focuses on the body as a space of emotion, identity, and interaction with the surrounding environment. Her work has been exhibited in Russia and Europe and is included in the collection of the State Russian Museum, as well as in private collections worldwide. She currently lives and works in Spain.
