Description from the seller
SWIMMING POOL
40x42 cm glicée photograph printed with pigment ink on Hahnemühle Photo Silk Baryta paper, stamped on the left and hand-signed on the back of the photograph.
The use of Hahnemühle paper combined with pigment ink guarantees museum-quality workmanship, allowing it to remain unchanged over time.
In ‘Swimmin Pool’, the photograph transforms a simple stretch of seashore into a swimming pool, inviting a sense of tranquillity. The line of the jetty, the polished metal of the ladder and the shades of blue create a suspended space, where time seems to slow down and the eye can finally rest.
The water, shifting from the lightest turquoise to deep blue, suggests depth and introspection, whilst the distant horizon and atmospheric clouds open up the scene to something beyond the visible. It is an image that brings a sense of breathing space, silence and escape from the everyday into the home, ideal for those seeking a piece capable of creating calm and focus in any setting.
Enrico Camporese was born in Venice-Italy. From 1965 ti 1970 he began working as a trade union-news photojournalist , documenting the political and social events of the period. Thanks to his photographs, he occasionally collaborated with the weekly italian magazines Il Mondo and L’Espresso.
In August of 1970, he decided to leave for Ireland. In Belfast he documented the outcomes of the daily conflict between Catholics and Protestants.
In September of the same year, in Venice, he cofounded INTERMEDIA, an advertising agency, together with five other colleagues. In 1975 he opened his own communication agency, PubbliCA, which, later became PubbliCA & Associati.
For about twenty years the agency was involved in advertising communication, collaborating and creating campaigns for Veneto companies of national and international importance. Well known brands of Murano glasswork masters rely on PubbliCA for their catalogues and advertising page.
Since 2020 Enrico Camporese has dedicated himself exclusively to art photography
