In Derivas, Ella Suárez develops an investigation into landscape understood as an expanded field, where forms are not fixed but move, transform, and continually reconfigure themselves.

The works are situated in an intermediate territory between the recognizable and the abstract. Through undulating structures and transitional planes, they evoke reliefs, horizons, and geographical features that do not belong to a concrete place, but to an experience of a landscape in constant change.

The concept of an extended landscape runs through the series as a way of thinking the environment beyond its physical limits. Space expands, the horizon decomposes, and depth is constructed through layers that fold, open, and overlap. In this context, relief ceases to be stable and becomes a living matter, subject to mutation processes.

Color acts as structure and energy. The ranges are organized in transitions that generate tension and continuity, articulating a visual rhythm that suggests movement, atmosphere, and time. Each plane responds to an internal logic that balances density and fluidity, building a landscape that never presents itself as definitive.

In Derivas, the landscape stops being an image and becomes a process: a way of perception in which matter, color, and time meet in a state of permanent transformation.

Authenticity of the work:
Each work is hand-signed on the back of the canvas, guaranteeing its authenticity and preserving the visual purity of the pictorial surface. The signature includes the title of the work, the year of realization, and Ella Suárez’s signature. The piece is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity (COA), which certifies its origin and authorship.

Delivery details:
