Jose Caselles - - Classical guitar - Spain

Guitar by luthier José Caselles, Valencia, Spain, handmade, this luthier has worked with Vicente Tatay, Taymar, Rafael Molina mervi and many other Valencian builders; this guitar has merit because they are hard to find and this exemplar is of high level and in perfect condition, practically new. It is estimated to have been made around 1980 based on the varnish analysis, and it has merit for belonging to the old Valencian school of guitar makers, at the forefront of the technique.

The construction is fabulous, very refined and worthy of a good Valencian guitar; the decorations are beautiful and elegant.

Palisander in the body, rims and back plate
Pins German spruce on the soundboard

The condition is immaculate, it’s like a time machine, it has no cracks nor any repairs, the varnish is original, the tuners were replaced by others.
