Overview
A very attractive vintage Omega pocket watch with a highly distinctive dial. The most striking feature is the red 12, which stands out beautifully against the white dial and gives the watch strong visual character. With its classic open-face layout, subsidiary seconds and old chain, it has a refined Swiss pocket watch presence and excellent collector appeal.
Technical details and condition
Mechanical pocket watch with a white dial, black Arabic numerals, a red 12, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and period-style ornate hands. The dial is signed Omega.
The inner case back is marked with the Omega logo, 0.800 silver mark and serial number 5543409. The cuvette is decorated with the Omega name and medal motifs. The movement has a gilt-toned finish with a clean traditional layout.
The back cover features a fine engine-turned ground with a floral shield-shaped cartouche at the centre. An old chain is included and matches the watch well.
Diameter approx. 51.26 mm. Weight approx. 84.01 g.
The watch is running normally, but it has not been tested over a long period.
Overall condition is honest and consistent with age. The dial shows normal ageing and light fine marks. The case has small scratches, general wear and age-related surface traces, with minor edge wear in places, all typical for an antique pocket watch.
