Broer Dobbelsteen (1936–2019) created the ink artwork Dorp in an Origineel edition from the 1980s, unsigned, in good condition, with a framed size of 72 x 86 cm.
Description from the seller
Broer Dobbelsteen was a versatile Brabant artist who made a name for himself mainly with his colorful and expressive paintings. Although he was originally trained as a designer at the academy in Eindhoven, in 1964 he changed course to devote himself entirely to fine art. His work, often centered on human figures and abstract shapes, stands out for its vibrant use of color and a very distinctive, recognizable hand. Until his death in 2019 he remained a prominent figure in the Geldrop region, where he worked for many years on an oeuvre that still frequently appears with collectors and at art auctions.
Dimensions of the work: 48 x 63 cm
Framed dimensions: 72 x 86 cm
Viewing is of course possible. In addition, we have our own in-house framing shop, which is celebrating its 85th anniversary. Furthermore, we use restorers from the industry association: 'Restauratoren Nederland'. If you would like to make use of this, we would of course be happy to hear from you."
