Description from the seller

Finely and carefully carved Semimaru mask.
A mask specifically designed for the main character in the Noh play Semimaru. Semimaru was a blind prince who is supposed to have lived in a hut at Osaka Barrier, which was on a hill on the edge of Lake Biwa (not the same as present day Osaka). The mask is of a refined young aristocrat, whose blindness is indicated by his nearly shut eyes.

Signed.
It would be nice display in your home.

Including noh mask bag.

Dimensions: 13,5 x 7 x 20,4 cm

Very good condition; there are signs of wear from age and normal use, scratches, marks, chips, rubbing, stains; for condition, please, take a look at pictures.

Registered shipping, well packed for safe and fast delivering.
