THE WORK

"Pulse Bloom" presents a colorful abstraction that works as a visual heartbeat: pinks and purples dominate the chromatic field, accompanied by bluish greens, turquoises and blues that add depth and freshness.

The composition is organized in vertical strokes, splashes and blurs that create layers and texture, while the black and red scribbled lines in the lower right quadrant introduce a gestural counterpoint and an expressive tension.

Kiru is a Spanish artist with an intuitive and accessible palette, who holds a Degree in Art from the Open University of Catalonia (Spain).

Kiru derives from the Sanskrit root kṛ, which means to create, make, outline, and is at the origin of terms such as kṛti (work) or karma (action). It is a historical and documented root, directly linked to the creative act understood as gesture, process and transformation.

THE COLLECTION

In the tradition of abstract art there is a recurring story: many painters who tried to expel language completely discovered that, even in the absence of form, text leaves an inevitable imprint. Not as a legible word, but as a human trace, as a gesture of consciousness. That minimal presence — a symbol, an incomplete syllable, a sign that seems like a letter but isn’t — functions as a reminder that behind color and matter there is a will deciding.

That same idea naturally connects with Stoic writings: texts that do not seek to adorn but to affirm an inner attitude toward the world. Therefore, in the collection “Abstract Stoicism,” including textual fragments transformed, disfigured or reduced to pure visual energy is not a cosmetic whim, but a coherent act: the best Stoic thoughts become abstract footprints to be perceived as the vibration of a will that does not break.
