Description from the seller
Ruud Lanfermeijer is a Dutch artist born in Amsterdam (c. 1956) who makes paintings in oil and acrylic and is also active in interactive art and performance. He combines visual art with installations, theater and music projects, where social relevance and audience involvement are central. In addition, he taught for many years on interactive performance design at HKU University of the Arts Utrecht.
His oil paintings often have a personal and emotional charge, in which he experiments with form and material without completely losing the recognizability of the image. These canvases are meant to affect the viewer both visually and emotionally and invite reflection and interpretation.
Dimensions of the work: 100 x 80 cm
The work is viewable at our gallery. Furthermore, Art Dumay has a picture-framing workshop (this year their 85th anniversary) and a restoration studio. So if you would like to make use of these, of course we would be happy to hear from you.
