The pen is presented in very good condition, maintaining an elegant and well-cared-for appearance consistent with a high-end writing piece. The body, black glossy lacquered metal, retains an excellent level of shine and uniformity, with light micro-signs of superficial use typical of a previously handled piece, visible only upon close inspection and not at all affecting its overall aesthetics.

The cap shows equally careful preservation, with the characteristic gold clip of Sheaffer and its White Dot properly aligned and in very good condition, preserving its original shine. The gold rings and elements maintain a good presence, with slight signs of normal aging but without significant finish losses or deformations. The cap closure functions correctly, offering a firm and secure fit.

The solid 18K gold inlaid nib is clean, well aligned, and visually very well preserved. The engraving is sharp, and the set maintains the iconic aesthetic of Sheaffer’s integrated design. The feed and section are in good structural condition.

The Touchdown filling system has been inspected and the pen is delivered fully operational, ready for use, in line with the usual inspection standards for collectible writing pieces.
