Commodore 16 (264 series) + matching 1531 Datasette - Computer

Commodore 16 (C16) is an 8-bit home computer produced by Commodore International between 1984 and 1985. Above it is visible its dedicated cassette recorder, the Detassette 1531, identifiable by the black color coordinated with the computer case. The C16 is considered the heir to the VIC-20 and an economical alternative to the famous Commodore 64. It features a dark case with a light keyboard, following the distinctive “breadbin” shape typical of the VIC-20 and the early C64.

CPU: MOS 7501 with a frequency of 0.89 or 1.76 MHz. RAM: 16 KB standard (hence the name), of which about 12 KB are available to the user in BASIC. Managed by the MOS 7360 (the clipTED), capable of displaying 121 colors and producing two audio voices. Includes Commodore BASIC 3.5, a more advanced version than that of the C64 with graphical and sound-specific commands. The computer has been inactive for a while and may need a bit of maintenance despite functioning well. All of it will be shipped with tracking and insured by Poste Italiane.
