A quarto volume (270x190 mm), half vellum, smooth spine (bindings of the period). Light signs of wear on the binding, one tear p. 152 with missing paper in a corner without affecting the text. Fresh interior, rare foxing.
Illustrated edition with 112 illustrations by P. Kauffmann, wood-engraved by MM. Quesnel and Villem Sens
