Subject and Theme:
"Vader in White V.1" is a work that plays with one of the most powerful visual short-circuits of contemporary pop imaginary: the dark, imposing body of the Lord of the Sith, wearing the pristine helmet of the imperial soldier.
Black and white. Power and anonymity. Absolute evil with the mask of one who carries out orders. An identity that multiplies, confuses, overturns itself and, in this overturning, finds its deepest meaning.
The work does not tell a story. It interrupts one. And in that pause something new is born.

Technique and Creation:
The figure dominates the scene with a statuesque presence, printed on a rigid support with a photographic and pictorial finish of high quality. The background is an expressive field of red, black and ochre — tactile brushstrokes, splashes, urban textures that evoke the language of street art and graffiti.
At the center of the composition, a red neon LED arch frames the head like a secular and unsettling halo: a symbol of power, of worship, of a pop deity that does not ask for prayers but demands attention.
The contrast between the coldness of the character and the chromatic violence of the background creates an unresolved, magnetically charged visual tension.

Inspiration and Curiosity:
"Vader in White V.1" arises from the question: what happens when you take away from a villainous icon its most recognizable visual identity, replacing it with that of the nameless soldier?
The work explores the boundaries between identity and role, between the individual and the system, between the face we choose and the one that is imposed on us. With the irony and lightness of pop art, and the visual depth of urban art.
An artwork for those who know the universe it comes from — and for those who have never heard of it. Because that figure, in that red light, speaks to everyone.
