Ber Stern (1930-2013) is a fashion photographer, specializing in portraits of stars; he is worldwide known for The Last Sitting, a collection of 2,500 photographs taken of Marilyn Monroe over a period of three days, six weeks before her death, in 1962, shot for Vogue magazine. Stern ultimately published his Marilyn Monroe shots "The Complete Last Sitting" in 1992.
