Description from the seller
Overview
This is an attractive antique Longines pocket watch set in which the watch, the pocket watch chain, and the period box all contribute equally to the overall appeal. The watch itself is a classic large open-face mechanical model with a clean and spacious signed dial, black Arabic numerals, and a red 13 to 24 hour inner scale that gives it strong period character. The silver case back is finely engine turned and centered by an engraved monogram cartouche, while the matching old chain and retailer-marked box complete the ensemble beautifully. The strongest charm of the lot lies in the combination of the Longines red 24 hour dial, the old chain, and the period box, all presented together as a coherent set.
