Porcelain was then a status symbol.
The model is called "double-curved" due to the curves in the lower cabinet.
These cabinets can be taken apart for transport.
Elegant top with again very beautiful and skilled carving.

Het model heet dubbel gebogen vanwege de welvingen in de onderkast. 
Deze kasten kunnen in-en uit elkaar gehaald voor vervoer.
