Art by Le Yack, titled Luxury Was Never the Point, a limited edition giclée on canvas measuring 40 x 40 cm, signed by the artist, in good condition, produced in France and sold directly from the artist.
Description from the seller
Lying in an old bathtub, she eats noodles with chopsticks.
An absurd scene? Maybe.
A deeply contemporary scene? Certainly.
The cracked tile, the morning light, the banality of a coffee cup placed on the floor — all evoke unfiltered intimacy.
The contrast between nudity, everyday life, and simple food turns this work into a reflection on modern comfort and the pursuit of immediate pleasure.
An ironic and tender portrait of a generation that blends aesthetics and improvisation.
