Fern is the pseudonym used by the sculptor Clavo and the sculptor Carmen Lop when they work together.
Both sculptors work with metal forging, mainly iron and steel.
The techniques they primarily use are forging and welding.
Their styles range from figurative to abstract, including pop art.
They place great importance on technique and artisanal work to create a good sculpture.

They have participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions, mainly national.
They have received separate awards, notably the "Urban Sculpture Prize Ciudad de Ávila" in 2006 and the "Memorial to the Victims of Machista Violence" in Zaragoza 2016.

They admire Spanish sculptors such as Martín Chirino, Jorge Oteiza, Eduardo Chillida, or Julio González.
