AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Cesare Gheduzzi was the youngest son of Ugo Gheduzzi, also an important 19th-century artist, as were Cesare's other three brothers: Giuseppe, Augusto and Mario.
A pupil of Carlo Follini, he devoted himself particularly to landscape painting en plein air, portraying the countryside in that period, and then broadened his gaze to Venice, the mountains of the Valle d'Aosta and the Valsesia, and seascapes. These, in particular, depict the Rapallo area, as evidenced by this work where the artist has captured the town and its castle in a painting that does not dwell on a detail, but portrays a fairly broad panorama.
The painting and its frame have been cleaned and varnished by a professional restorer.
The dimensions of the panel are height 31 cm and width 47 cm.
Ready to make a fine display in any type of decor.
