LA LÁMPARA is a 70x100 cm painting by contemporary artist Ernest García. This work is a painting of balance and silence, where the scene is built from two presences: the inner light and the outer light.

The composition is organized around a clear dialogue. On the left, the window opened to the night introduces depth and mystery: a dark blue pierced by the moon, serene and distant. On the right, the lit lamp radiates a warm, intimate light that inhabits the domestic space. Between them, the frame becomes a threshold. There is no human figure, but its absence is felt. Everything is arranged as if someone had just left or was about to return: the lit lamp, the open window, the calm space.

The chromatic contrast is essential. The cold blues of the night and the wall confront the golden and reddish tones of the lamp, generating a soft but constant tension. This opposition is not conflict, but balance: the exterior and the interior, the distant and the near, the silent and the warm.
